The goal is to create an Adriatic wine & lifestyle brand based on authenticity, top-notch gastronomy, Mediterranean lifestyle, culture and history and top-quality indigenous wines

Kvarner Wines confirmed its strong international position by participating in the Herzegovina Wine Road Festival in Mostar, one of the most important new eno-gastro and wine-tourism events in the region. Director Dr. Sc. Žarko Stilin presented the development vision of Kvarner as a modern European wine & lifestyle destination and projects that today strongly connect wine, gastronomy, tourism, culture, identity and international destination marketing at a panel discussion.

A common wine story of four countries

The presentation of international activities by which Kvarner Wines actively connects Kvarner with Italy, Herzegovina and Montenegro through the development of a common Adriatic wine story and the promotion of indigenous varieties, Mediterranean gastronomy and sustainable wine tourism attracted particular attention.

The proposal to develop a new transnational platform, Iter Vitis Adriatic, aroused special interest from international participants. It is a project that would connect wine roads, historic ports, autochthonous varieties, gastronomy, cultural heritage and lifestyle destinations on both sides of the Adriatic, from Venice and Ancona to Kvarner, Herzegovina and Montenegro.

In Mostar, Stilin also spoke about the project Kvarner - European Region of Gastronomy 2026, and the promotional film Kvarner - Make Your Own Movie was premiered.
