We have, of course, already reported on the Plaža Plavac 2021 from the Marijan winery on Hvar, and our columnist Željko Garmaz has also introduced Tonči Marijan, the man behind it. We could also claim the New Zealand wine Ngakirikiri from the Villa Maria winery founded by Sir George Fistonich, a descendant of Croatian immigrants, as our own.

Almost all were awarded 97 points; only the Jerez, Xérès ili Sherry VORS 30 Years from the Oloroso Tradition winery scored 98.
