Cuvée Terroir Stari podrum 2020, vranac with 20 percent petit verdot from the Podgorica winery Plantaže, and Radovan 2022, vranac and cabernet sauvignon from the Keković Estate winery from Novi Selo near Podgorica, are the golden Montenegrin wines from this year's Decanter evaluation. Montenegrin wineries won another seven silver awards and eight bronze awards.
Plantaže’s silver-winning wines are Barrique Vranac 2021, Réserve Vranac 2018 and Stari Podrum Vranac 2018, while the Buk winery won silver with its Marselan Limited Edition 2023 and the Buk Cuvée 2023 blend (Vranac, Syrah, and Marselan).
Vranac with 20% of Marselan won silver
The Vida winery earned silver for its Cuvée 2023 (Vranac with 20% Marselan), and the Rajković winery for its Merlot 2022. Bronze medals also went to four Plantaže wines: Pro Anima Pinot Blanc 2025, Vranac Pro Corde 2022, Vladika 2022, and Premier 2017.
Bronze for Kadarka and Probus cuvée
Dedvukaj winery won bronzes with Pietro Cabernet Franc-Syrah 2021, Adriana 2021 (Marselan and Syrah), and Oro di Lago 2021 (Kadarka and Probus).Keković’s Sauvignon Blanc 2025 also have bronze medal. Congratulations to the winemakers.
