Where else would Ivana and Ivo go but in search of Sveti Ivan (Saint John)? It would have been a sin not to stop by the Šain Marelić winery on Korčula, where cousins ​​Dražen and Stojan produce three versions of Pošip: Sv. Ivan (St. John), Sv. Ivan Selekcija (St. John Selection), and Moro. Naturally, we tasted all three, reaffirming what we already knew, and in late August particularly enjoyed the standard Sv. Ivan. The day began with a boat trip from Zavalatica, continued with a visit to the cellar in Čara, and concluded at a konoba in the heart of the island, accompanied by a pleasant breeze, delicious fish, excellent wine, and great company.
