Malinska Walk & Taste

Malinska Walk & Taste 2026 is a unique gourmet experience that combines a relaxed interpretive seaside walk with tastings of local island specialties. During the program, visitors are guided by an expert guide through the history, heritage, and everyday life of Malinska, with stops at carefully selected locations where they can enjoy authentic flavors of the island of Krk. This experience connects nature, culture, and gastronomy in a relaxed and engaging way, allowing visitors to discover the destination through all senses.

The aim of the project is to organize interpretive walks with tastings of local specialties, promote traditional dishes and ingredients prepared by Malinska’s restaurants, and raise awareness about the quality and diversity of Kvarner wines. As part of the event, local restaurants participate with offerings of traditional dishes and seasonal ingredients such as lamb, wild asparagus, cheese, curd, seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as wines made from indigenous Kvarner grape varieties.

The tasting walks will take place on:

• June 6, 2026

The group capacity is limited to 30 participants.

What is included in the ticket?

The ticket price is EUR 65.00 per person and includes:

• Welcome goodie bag
• Five tastings of island specialties paired with wines from the island of Krk
• Professional guide throughout the interpretive walk
• Entrance ticket and guided tour of the DUBoak Maritime Heritage Interpretation Centre
• Transportation by tourist train

From 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, visitors will also have the opportunity to taste a selection of Kvarner wines accompanied by gastro specialties at promotional prices, along with live music entertainment at Ivan Klobučarić Square (in front of the DUBoak Centre).
